- GoDoWorks
- December 23, 2021
On Wednesday 15 December the webinar “Government field geo-management: a technology answer for smart cities” took place, focused on the road to smart cities and on the move from traditional management to government geo-management. Out of that technological shift and a change of paradigm built on mobility comes the smart city model, in which municipalities and governments put the citizen at the center.
The virtual event, held over Zoom, was designed for municipal directors, public employees, ministers, mayors and officials from bodies such as municipalities, ministries and other institutions.
The event had two main speakers: Marcel Mordezki (Uruguay), an expert in Management of Technology, consultant and international lecturer, and Patricia Canabal (Uruguay), director of IT Process Analysis at the Municipality of Montevideo.
Also taking part: Cesar Corredor (Colombia), Director of Technological Development at the Ministry of Agriculture and consultant at Pensiero Advisors, Luis Garrido (Uruguay), Director General of Control at the Municipality of Canelones and a political science graduate, and Luis Bornia (Uruguay), of the Signage and Street Naming Unit at the Municipality of Canelones.
Here is the recording of the event so you can watch it again:
