GoDoWorks, AWS and BGH lead a Bogotá event on the future of AI in field operations

To a packed room at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) offices, GoDoWorks held one of the year's most significant events for the field service industry in Bogotá. Under the title “AI for Field Services: Productivity Without Limits”, the event brought together executives from telecom, energy, healthcare, retail, construction, logistics and government, all keen to understand how artificial intelligence is redefining productivity, efficiency and operational capacity in the field.
Co-created by GoDoWorks, AWS and BGH Tech Partner, the event reaffirmed a technology partnership of more than 12 years, in which every GoDoWorks solution runs on AWS infrastructure, guaranteeing security, availability, scalability and resilience. Over that period the company has built up a unique volume of historical data from more than 150 projects and 15,000 users, who carry out inspections, installations, maintenance and technical work across Latin America every day.
That ecosystem of real data —built over more than a decade— has become the basis for a strategic leap: adding a layer of artificial intelligence, developed together with AWS, that boosts clients' operational capacity and opens a new era for field management.
Voices from the event
The opening was delivered by Bruno Nocella, MBA, CEO and co-founder of GoDoWorks.
“AI boosts management: it amplifies it. But it only creates value when there is a solid data model and well-organized processes. That is the road we have been building for more than a decade alongside our clients across the region,” he said.
He was followed by Juan David Novoa, Solutions Architect at AWS, who presented global trends and Amazon's compute capabilities for generative and predictive AI; and by economist Juan Pablo Alarcón, Chief Commercial Officer at GoDoWorks, who shared the joint innovation roadmap for the coming years.
Some of the AI applications presented
During the day, GoDoWorks showed part of its new AI suite applied directly to field operations, including:
Motivation and gamification algorithms, which raise team performance and engagement.
Smart training, with automatic gap detection and tailored course suggestions.
A smart mobile assistant that guides the technician in real time, validates safety protocols and cuts operational errors.
Management analytics with AI, generating automatic reports and recommendations for executive decisions.
Computer vision, aimed at recognizing and interpreting images to validate assets, installations and working conditions.
This suite positions GoDoWorks as one of the most advanced Field Service Management (FSM) platforms in Latin America.
A competitive advantage out of reach for anyone who does not adopt AI
In his talk, economist Juan Pablo Alarcón Maigiesta, CCO of GoDoWorks for Latin America, said: “There is already a gap between the companies that manage, control and direct their field processes in real time with FSM solutions. Now that gap becomes unbridgeable with the AI engine. The profitability of companies using tools like GDW's will be far higher than that of those who do not, creating a competitive advantage that is practically out of reach.”
A closing message: AI is no longer a trend, it is a requirement
The event closed on a firm note: artificial intelligence has stopped being a promise and become a competitive requirement.
The organizations that bring together AI models, structured data, operational automation and predictive capability will be the ones leading their industries in the coming years.
With this event in Bogotá, GoDoWorks, AWS and BGH consolidate their regional leadership and mark the start of a new stage for field operations: more profitable, more digital, more connected and more human
