POP material

POP material — point of purchase — is all the promotional material placed at the point of sale to draw attention to a product: displays, signs, shelf strips, hanging signs, floor stands. It is produced by the brand and installed in the store.

Its classic problem is that it gets delivered and never installed. The material leaves the brand, reaches the store and ends up in the back room because nobody assembled it or because there was no agreed space. Without photo verification that loss is invisible: it shows as delivered.

Verifying it changes the conversation with the chain: instead of complaining in general terms, you show in which specific stores what was agreed was not executed, and since when. That is the difference between a complaint and a claim with evidence behind it.
