Geoproductivity
Geoproductivity is the ratio between the work actually completed and the total time the team spends on the street, travel included. It measures how much of the day turns into service delivered and how much goes into getting there. The term was coined by GoDoWorks.
It differs from plain productivity: a person can complete their eight visits of the day and still have low geoproductivity if four hours went into avoidable travel. The indicator points at the routing problem, not the effort one, and that is why it is corrected by planning rather than by demanding more.
It is measured by comparing productive time — the time spent at the customer site — against total shift time. A jump in this number almost always comes from grouping visits by zone instead of by the order in which requests arrived.
