Offline work
Offline work is a field app ability to operate without internet: it receives the day orders in advance, lets them be completed and stores everything on the device until there is signal, and then syncs without the person having to do anything.
It is not a convenience: in basement, construction, highway or rural operations it is the condition for the data to exist at all. Without it, evidence gets taken on a personal phone and sent later by messaging app, which is how traceability is lost and how photos with no time or location appear.
What to look at when evaluating it is what happens with conflicts: if two people modified the same order while offline, the system has to resolve it with an explicit rule and not simply keep whichever synced last.
